Strictly Dancing teaches a wide range of popular partner dance styles, probably the widest range of any dance school in the UK.

Our teaching methods are aimed at promoting good safe dancing with special emphasis on the fun element. As regards good safe dancing, the level and amount of technique we can impart depends on how much you want to learn, and the size of the classes (it is easier to explain and correct a fine point to a class of twenty than to a class of one hundred). However, whatever your level of interest in the complexities of the dances we teach, we have all the answers, whether it is about footwork (even in French Jive), how to lead and follow, how to spin, how to feel and interpret the rhythm, about the music structure etc..

We hold regular evening dance lessons in Prestwick, Irvine, and Hurlford in Ayrshire. We also run workshops, social dances and dance events in Ayrshire. Our street map and transport connection guide shows the accessibility of our dance venues by car and public transport. Our dance school serves the communities of Ayr, Prestwick, Troon, Kilmarnock, Hurlford, Irvine, Cumnock and Glasgow.
